Chapter 351 A Certain Bea (1/2)

When Tang Yiling and Ning Jie we're finished performing their second song, like before, the crowd erupted in cheers. These cheers were a bit more enthusiastic than the last because, despite Ning Jie and Tang Yiling failing at getting their vocals right, the song and beat were ones which would appeal to the masses.

Immediately after this, Ning Jie and Tang Yiling made it off the stage via the back. There, Lu AnLing and Mo Sheng stood talking about something Tang Yiling could not head. But since Tang Yiling saw Lu AnLing's face full of calmness, Tang Yiling walked all the way over to the girl and forcefully bumped into Lu AnLing.

Feeling the bump on her shoulder, Lu AnLing frowned but instead of giving in, she grabbed onto Mo Sheng who was beside her and then she leaned her weight a bit onto Tang Yiling. This caused Tang Yiling, who had been wearing six-inch heels, to almost topple over, but it was Ning Jie who caught her.

Tang Yiling was in a mood ever since the Gu Chu Nian incident and the fact that her performance had been well received had made her happier but seeing Lu AnLing's smug face when she walked backstage made her have an intense urge to hurt the girl.

Though just when she was going to do anything more, there was a voice that called to Mo Sheng and Lu AnLing in the distance.

”I'm sorry I'm late!” Manager Hong said as she ran up to Mo Sheng and Lu AnLing. Behind her walked Mo Yichen and Madame Mo.

When Manager Hong stopped beside Lu AnLing and Mo Sheng she immediately noticed Ning Jie and tried to greet her, but seeing Manager Hong in such a happy state without her by the woman's side, Ning Jie felt really pissed and so, when she saw Manager Hong about to greet her, Ning Jie grabbed hold of Tang Yiling's hand and dragged her away.

Because of this, a frown appeared on Manager Hong's face. She still cared about Ning Jie, but since Ning Jie was acting as such, Manager Hong tried her hardest to not allow Ning Jie's attitude to hurt her... But this was very hard.

Meanwhile, Seeing his parents, Mo Sheng smiled wide.

”I thought you wouldn't come,” Mo Sheng said.

”We came to support you! But won't be staying for long, our final partner for the Infinity Project has just arrived in T City and we'll be showing him around.” Mo Yichen said calmly, and then he turned to Lu AnLing, ”I've already presented him with your resume he said that he's glad someone so capable is working on the infinity project. He's looking forward to meeting with you.”

Hearing this, Lu AnLing smiled wide. ”I'm looking forward to it too.”

Suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, Rong Xin came and handed Lu AnLing a tambourine.

Seeing this, Mo Yichen and Madame Mo were completely confused.

As the Mo couple observed, Rong Xin handed Mo Sheng the second tambourine awkwardly. Ever since what had happened at Lu Xia's house, the two had felt a bit awkward, mostly concerning the fact that they had woken up next to each other, the morning after.

Actually, they had woken up in a very compromising position also... but the two didn't want to remember or talk about it, so this remained a secret between the two.

”Thank you—” Mo Sheng was saying but then, suddenly, Mo Sheng's hand accidentally brushed up against Rong Xin's. Feeling this, Mo Sheng ripped his hand and the tambourine away. Realizing what he had just done the boy frowned and said, ”Sorry...”

Rong Xin slowly pulled away himself, and then he said, ”Yea... me too.”

The way both men spoke and answered one another was very unlike themselves and contradictory to their somewhat calm outside appearance, the awkwardness grew between them.

Noticing the slight awkwardness between her son and Rong Xin, Madame Mo, cocked her head curiously.

”What are those for?” Mo Yichen said, not noticing what his wife had.
