Chapter 215 Lu AnLings Boyfriend (2/2)

Lu AnLing: ”However he feels and whatever he says is only up to him. It has nothing to do with me.”

After she had finished saying that, a voice in the distance said,

”What's going on?”

Turning to the familiar voice, everyone who surrounded Xiao Mian, Lu AnLing and Zhao Fei turned to Yang Yize.

The man was completely confused.

Yang Yize had been out for a smoke trying to wrap his head around what had just happened with Kang Jun. He was shocked and sad so he needed something to calm his erratic mind.

After he was done, he thought it would be best to get a drink but as soon as he entered the lounge, he was completely shocked by what he was seeing.

”Yang Yize... we thought you were a prince. How dare you hurt goddess Mian like this!” A girl grumbled.

Hearing this, Yang Yize turned with fear and confusion towards Lu AnLing, Xiao Mian And Zhao Fei. He could guess what had happened but how had it gotten revealed? Yang Yize knew and trusted that Lu AnLing would not say a word, so all that was left to his mind was suspicions about Zhao Fei.

Yang Yize: ”What...”

”Happened?” Lu AnLing finished his sentence for him and then she pointed to the three girls she had injured. ”Well tweedle dee, tweedle dumb and tweedle bitch, over there, probably heard our conversation and decided to propagate it like the plague.”

Yang Yize turned to Xiao Mian guiltily and said, ”Mian... it's not what you think happened...”

Xiao Mian's eyes filled with tears as she looked between Lu AnLing and Yang Yize. ”Did you two rehearse your answers...”

Lu AnLing rolled her eyes. ”Xiao Mian, don't talk nonsense. There is no longer anything between Yang Yize and me.”

Listening carefully to her words, Xiao Mian's face twisted, ”No longer? That means there was something before?”

Lu AnLing looked at Xiao Mian in the eyes and said, ”Yes, but it was a long—”

”I don't want to hear anymore!” Xiao Mian screamed.

Xiao Mian felt betrayed and hearing this, many began to complain about Lu AnLing's arrogant tone but she couldn't care less.

She didn't want to bow down to anyone or be treated like the bad guy. As a person, she was not bellow any of these people and most of all, she was not the bad guy but the victim.

This was something she firmly knew and believed.

But in the crowd, she wasn't the only one...

Lu Shuya thought the same.

Lu Shuya had not planned to be late to the reunion but she had been preoccupied with bringing her grandmother to her a check-up at the hospital.

Coming to the reunion, Lu Shuya thought it would be a great time to just relax but as soon as she walked inside, she began to hear the accusations put upon Lu AnLing.

Hearing this, Lu Shuya felt annoyed and disgusted. But not at Lu AnLing but at both the room full of people and, most of all, Yang Yize.

Lu AnLing had done many things Lu Shuya didn't agree with but the incidents involving Yang Yize wasn't her fault...And Lu AnLing carried herself as such. With pride and belief in herself. For the first time in a long time, Lu Shuya could t help but think,

'We are definitely family...'

This strange pride lied within their Lu blood.

Though this thought quickly dissipated when she saw Xiao Mian lift her hand up in the air.

Quickly, Lu Shuya put herself in between Lu AnLing and Xiao Mian. She felt the strong hit swipe across her cheeks with a loud pak! sound.

Without her permission, tears fell from Lu Shuya's eyes as she looked at Xiao Mian with both anger and guilt.

Xiao Mian: ”Why did you stop me?”

Lu Shuya shook her head as the tears fell down her face.

For the first time in a long time, Lu AnLing felt a strange protective instinct immerge from within her. Quickly, she grabbed Lu Shuya's face and examined the red mark that was forming. Lu AnLing was going to ask if she was okay but instead, Lu Shuya pushed her hands away, looked at Xiao Mian and then said,

”Yize was AnLing's boyfriend first...”
