With all that said, everyone was utterly confused about what was going on. Even Lu AnLing and Mo Yichen couldn't quite follow.
Turning to Mo Yichen, Kang Jun said, ”We needed someone well versed in translation for the Infinity Project, right?”
Hearing the words 'Infinity Project' Mo Yichen put his hand on his chin and began to nod. ”That's true...”
Then he looked at Lu AnLing and said, ”Miss Lu, would it bother you to do some freelance work? If you're worried about compensation, you shouldn't. We always pay a hefty som to those who do good work.”
Lu AnLing shook her head. ”Thank you for the offer,” she glanced curiously at Kang Jun for a second before she said, ”I would be glad to take on this opportunity.”
Even thought she accepted, Lu AnLing was completely confused why Kang Jun had done that. She wanted to think about this analytically, but thinking about how she would be spending some time working with Kang Jun, Lu AnLing felt her body warm.
Meanwhile, Yang Yize's eyes were wide.

'The Kang Corporation was actually going through with it...' Yang Yize thought.
The Infinity Project was a huge project. One which had been on the back burner of the Kang Corporation for a long time. It was said to be a project which would help the entertainment industry grow and hopefully, rival Hollywood.
Many companies had heard about it and wanted to get themselves in on the action but rarely anyone had ever been able to break through the impenetrable shield called Kang Jun.
Yang Yize himself had tried to get on a Kang Jun's good side; expressly finding ways to show up to high brow events in order to meet the man, yet Lu AnLing had so easily gotten a way in...
The man couldn't help but feel slightly bitter.
As Yang Yize wallowed in his bitterness, Mo Yichen and Lu AnLing exchanged business cards.
Mo Yichen: ”We will talk more about the project another day.” Then glancing over the dark faces of Yang Yize and Xiao Mian, Mo Yichen specified, ”In private.”
Hearing this, Lu AnLing nodded.
Then the man turned to the others. Noticing he hadn't fully greeted everyone when he had first arrived, Mo Yichen greeted Lu Shuya and then when his eyes laid upon Grandma Lu, Mo Yichen said politely,
”Excuse my rudeness, I am Mo Yichen, and who might you be?”
”Lu Lili,” Grandma Lu said before gesturing to Lu AnLing, ”I'm her grandmother”
Hearing this, a look of amusement appeared momentarily within Mo Yichen's eyes. He turned to Kang Jun, and then unconsciously murmured,
”Oh...”
Grandma Lu did not notice this. The old woman was beginning to feel tired. Her body was stiff and heavy and she just wanted to go home but the woman was too proud to complain. Noticing this, Kang Jun said,
”Grandmother, are you feeling unwell?”
Hearing this, Grandma Lu froze but then she began to look up. She was about to dismiss his concerns, but when she met his gaze, she felt something deep inside her stir heart.
This boy's eyes were warm.
Kang Jun was trying to score browny points with her.
How clever!
Grandma Lu almost laughed.
Grandma Lu knew exactly who Kang Jun was but, as if reason left her, she said, ”You're a very sweet boy, but I'm fine.”
”Grandma!” Lu Shuya said scoldingly. She truly didn't want her family to be doomed because they insulted such a prolific man!
