13 Chapter 12 (2/2)
Since Ussop did an amazing job with the flag, I was thinking of making him do it on the sails as well, but I didn't get the chance, as I saw a confrontation between two ships. One of the ships was a marine one, while the other was a caravel with no flag. There was also a small dinghy moving towards them as well.
I don't know what happened, but the marine ship started firing against both the dinghy and the ship. They were exactly on our path and as soon as we reached firing distance, the marine ship fired immediately.
I was easily able to redirect the cannonballs straight at them by inflating myself. I redirected three more and was able to hit the marine ship with two. I saw the Marines jumping into the sea and swimming towards a nearby island. Before we reached the ships, the Marines were already in the distance.
Once we got there, Zoro, Nami and I jumped on the Caravel to check for any survivors or loot in her case. Zoro found both Johnny and Yosaku on the ship. They seemed injured so he brought them on our ship to bandage them up. Both of them were as tall as me. Johnny had sunglasses and a tattoo under his left eye, while Yosaku had a weird looking red headgear and a green cloak.
I only found bodies so far on the ship and this really angered me,however, I was able to hear a soft whimpering sound like someone was silently sobbing. I was able to locate where the sound was coming from and after removing a bunch of debris, I found the source.
It was abeautiful white-haired girl, probably around my age and she was slightly short than Nami I would guess. I didn't have the time to be gazing at her and enjoying her beauty as there was a nasty wound on her abdomen. I quickly grabbed her and carried her in a princess carry style her to my ship. I heard her silent protest along the way, however, I can't let someone die in front of me.
I was able to convince the girl that I mean her no harm and she fell unconscious, while I was cleaning the wound and after bandaging her, I left help to sleep in the Captains Room. I can't let her sleep on a hammock in that condition.
Johnny and Yosaku were already jumping around after getting bandaged. They were extremely happy to see Zoro again and were surprised he became a pirate. After telling them our story and how it happened, they were furious at what the Marines had done. Both of them actually started begging me to join the crew. Zoro even spoke up for them, saying how they will be a great addition. I was planning on asking them either way since we would definitely need more crew members with this ship, so I accepted.
Nami also was able to get a good haul from the wreckage and brought around five million Berri from the ships.
After sailing for a few more hours, we actually managed to reach the Baratie. The sea restaurant was probably at least 5 times as big as our Carrack. It's gigantic and amazing how it looks like a fish. We found a place to dock our ship and I left Johnny and Yosaku to guard the ship and the girl, as she still hasn't woken up after we bandaged her. The rest of the crew went inside the sea restaurant with me.
