The so-called refining process was actually extracting those matters out of the sh.e.l.ls and using the ancient book’s incantations to permute its order, the new order would form the shape of the armour and help to create a link between the armour and Yuan Qi.

Chu Yunsheng also refined the golden sh.e.l.l that he found when he was near the city. Unlike the crimson coloured particles, which came from the red sh.e.l.l, the golden sh.e.l.l provided a bright golden colour. Not only that, but its quant.i.ty and purity were much higher than the red sh.e.l.l as well, not to mention the degree of its hardness.

When the shape of the armour was completed, the light that came from the talisman suddenly glowed even brighter. It immediately lit up the whole room.

A moment later, a dark crimson armour with a slightly golden stripe was floating in mid-air. Qian Bi sword automatically flew back and held by the hand armour.

Different from tier-one armour, during tier-two armour’s refining process, citing different incantations would result in the same matters having different permutations. In the end, the armour would provide different kinds of effects.

The damage of the energy types of attacks like the flaming bird’s fire attack, the red-sh.e.l.led insect’s corrosive liquid, would be greatly reduced.

There were other kinds of combat effects like levitating in mid-air, merge with the sword, etc… but those effects were only available for the higher tier armours.

The incantation that Chu Yunsheng chose to use was Speed. Within all kinds of combat abilities, he always considered speed first. He then immediately noticed the difference. The armour’s activation speed was much quicker than before!
