However, Chu Yunsheng did not get very far before he heard some quick footsteps appear from his back. He was alerted and slightly turned around to check what was behind him, but what he saw next almost scared him to death!

He saw a group around eight people were running fast toward him from the other end of the street, and another flaming bird was currently chasing them!

Probably, that flaming bird had already killed all other awakened warriors, that was why it kept chasing those people!

Chu Yunsheng’s heart jumped rapidly in panic. He was so weak right now that he couldn’t even kill a meat worm, let alone this flaming bird.

His legs started to shake uncontrollably, and he could no longer control his emotions.

Subconsciously, he wanted to take out the motorbike. He would rather encounter a meat worm now than a flaming bird. He knew that even with the motorbike’s speed, he still wouldn’t be able to get rid of the flaming monster, but he still had a slight hope that he would be able to get away.

However, it was just wishful thinking! What made him feel even more desperate was that no matter how he tried to start the motorbike, the motorbike just wouldn’t start.

With the flaming bird getting closer and closer, Chu Yunsheng finally had a mental breakdown. After killing two people, the flaming bird flew over everyone’s head, stepped on the first person’s back and pressed that person down very hard. The person instantly lost his consciousness when his head hit the ground, then his body was burned and his energy was absorbed by the flaming bird.

Meanwhile, three more people just ran past Chu Yunsheng. One of them lost his balance when jumping over Chu Yunsheng and fell to the ground, the fifth person stepped on Chu Yunsheng’s hand by accident. Chu Yunsheng couldn’t bear the pain, but twitched his hands slightly.

The person, who stepped on his hand, was scared to death when a dead man suddenly moved.

But then that person immediately realized what happened. He quickly threw himself on the ground and played dead just like Chu Yunsheng.

The slowest person among them should have been dead, but luckily the flaming monster decided to fly over them to catch the person at the front. When that person saw two people were playing dead on the ground, he immediately followed them.

Chu Yunsheng really wanted to kill those two idiots and dumped them in a place far away from him.

Could they not choose somewhere else to play dead. All three of them were roughly four meters between each other. If the flaming monster noticed any one of them, they would all be dead. Chu Yunsheng had been ambushed by the red-sh.e.l.led insects before, since then, he has never doubted any monsters’ intelligence once!

As he expected, after the flaming bird killed the four people at the front, it didn’t leave, it was still wheeling in the sky and looking for the few people that were missing.

Chu Yunsheng was watching the flaming bird secretly. When he saw the monster eventually locked on them, he knew it was game over!
