Corinne finished her story with somewhat distress. She couldn't help but think coming of another war. Now that her client is here that means Hunters are already on the work. While Vampires are starting to kill randomly.

”I have a question. Why didn't Wolves join the war?” After a long time of silence, Max asked confused. Why not wolves join? Normally they ought to be mortal enemies with Vampires. Things seemed strange.

”This I don't know too, you should ask your family. This all I heard from my old friend” Corinne slowly shook her head hinting he lack of knowledge.

”I can meet him or her?” Max had a pretty good idea who is her friend might be. but he decided to stay as the stranger he was. no need to alarm Corinne.

Maybe Talia never died, maybe she is at the state of sleep because of fire. TV series never said it but Max believed she was in fact still alive.

It's not that Corinne trusts Max. Actually, there was no harm in telling who is her client. Max never going to meet him. If they going to work together Max needs to know that there is a Hunter in town.
