Working hard for a day and a half Scott and Stiles finally managed rescue, Derek. however, it wasn't without a cost. Scott and Derek had to face long lines of Hunters with guns and bows.

Most of them were still manageable but out of nowhere, Kate Argent join the fun. she had almost a hundred percent accuracy even at such a distance. but she only shot once which aimed to Scott.

However, Derek took the bullet instead of Scott. eventually, Stiles came saving the day with his jeep.

Despite rescue being successful, Derek's wound he got from Kate doesn't seem to be healing. it's getting worse as time pass.

”What should we do? we have to treat it somehow”

Scott said while helping Derek to sit down. although bullet only pierced Derek's arm and already removed from the wound it spreading fast into his body.

”It's the True Wolfbane, it won't stop unless you find the same type of wolfbane and then burn it off. poison against the poison”

Derek said weakly as he felt wolfbane slowly consuming his power.

”I thought you kept wolfbane here, if not we can found it in the forest”

Stiles couldn't look at the wounds. so he stayed back. but seeing a problem arise decided to join in.

”No idiot, didn't I say it's true wolfbane? normal wolfbanes are purple while this particular one is yellow, very rare. in 24 hours I will be dead even an Alpha might suffer.”

”So what happens now?” Scott asked since he couldn't find any solution for Derek condition.

”We have two options,” Derek said weakly but seriously ”One is you two knuckleheads go back and steal bullet from Kate Argent”

”What the second?” not wanting to experience hell once again Scott asked for a second option. from sidelines, Stiles agreed to his best friend.

”The second option is to remove my arm before the poison spread into the whole body,” Derek said without changing expressions.

”What?! that's not an option that just gambit” Screamed Scott strongly opposed the idea of severing arm.

”Then what?! huh!? are you going back to steal wolfbane from that crazy bitch? maybe she already knows you the second beta. you can say goodbye to your head while you at it”

The pain made Derek somewhat angry. he too didn't want to remove his arm but he couldn't send Scott to his doom.

”I will go, you have 24 hours. I will figure something out” Scott said strongly. he knew Kate didn't actually saw him, the only outline. so if he didn't act suspicious everything will be fine.

”Hey guys” Stiles watched the whole thing and decide to speak.

”What!!??” both Derek and Scott turn to glare at him.

”Or...we can go with the third option”

”What is that?” not knowing what his friend is talking about Scott asked curiously.

”We can ask help from an Alpha,” Stiles said grinning ear to ear.

”What makes you think Peter would help us? even if he does help, he will ask me and him to join his pack”

Derek denied Stiles idea without even thinking twice. even if he dies from this Peter is his enemy. and nothing could change that.

”He is not talking about that Alpha” Scott understood what Stiles talking about. what Stiles said was true maybe he could help them. Scott had a tiny bit of confidence.

”He is talking about White Alpha and you already met him,” Scott said looking at confused Derek ”Stiles, call him”
