Wu Tian was tired after the fight so he decided to log off. He shouted ”Pod Logoff and shutdown.”
He then exited the pod and opened his smartphone and searched ”Players in the Volta Wind Mountain Village.”
He was curious why he didn't see any real players in the village, he clicked on the first article
”The worst spawn point, the Volta Wind Mountain Village was a spawn point in the beta but was removed in the game, due to its limited opportunities and difficulty with the first mission, Killing Silver Wolves, it was removed from the game and put as a bonus spawn point for a lucky few who have bought the V4R Pod Version 6 but the game statistics show a shocking 1 person who has chosen the village while the majority 75% of people spawned in the popular Twilight Town. Another statistic is that only 5% of the game chose the pugilist class due to it having no weapon mastery.”
Wu Tian was dumbfounded, only 1 person... wasn't that him?
”Dammit I should get a refund is this the special headstart that employee told me about, I have to go back to the store and question them, *yawn* I'm tired I'm going to bed, let me send a strong word email to their store and see how they respond, wait... what's my email again.”
After searching for an hour he found a little piece of paper with an email address and a password he used for everything. Since he couldn't use technology often he had to write down the password to stuff so he didn't forget it. He went and learned a little more about the game and then went to sleep.
Wu Tian woke up the next morning and saw he got a reply.
”Sorry for the confusion, our employee mixed up the promotion with another product, he was supposed to say, there is a special spawn point if you buy this pod, if you read the reviews online they are false due to the games AI operator, TITAN, it should have made it a little balanced, also no refunds have a nice day. Store Owner...”
Wu Tian shouted, ”WTF DO YOU MEAN NO REFUNDS!!! and balanced my ass that was difficult even for a martial artist like myself...”
After his little tantrum, he ate a breakfast of cereal and milk, then stretched and practiced few martial arts in the porch outside his living room, and went to the V4R Pod to play so more, he was determined to make a living off this game.
The Pod logged on like last time with a laser ID verification, then spawned where he was before, he then walked back to the village where he found Chief Yang.
Chief Wang ran up to Wu Tian and said ”Young hero thank you for saving our village, you also killed the powerful general wolves, for this, I will give you this map given to us by a powerful old man years ago who told us if a talent you see willing to help this town and only uses bare hands then give them this map, now I will be giving it to you.”
Wu Tian grabbed the map and saw a quest appear,
Quest, Legendary Rank: Chief Yang has given you a map leading to an unknown location deep in the mountains, there is a test at the end if you pass or fail will be up to you.
