106 Aya Andersson - Extra Chapter - Part 5 (1/2)

”I suggest that all of you just stand right there for a while. It makes my job easier,” said Ivar. He cracked his neck and looked at us with a malicious grin.

”Ivar!” yelled His Supremacy. ”Where is Amathelia? She never kept in touch with me for months! I need her!”

”As I said, Melker, Ama has no need for you anymore. Also, your face p.i.s.ses me off to no end. Have you ever look at yourself in the mirror? You like a donkey that just got his face smashed with a boulder. Makes me sick.”

Ivar's wings lifted the roof even higher and threw it onto the ground.

”Aaah!” I screamed as the area shook from the impact.

”Aya!” Mommy went over to my side and wrapped her arms around me. Then, after the tremor disappeared, she stood up to Ivar and prepared to unleash her invisible Aegis.

”You can try, Alicia Andersson. Though, I doubt it would work,” he taunted.

Mommy waved her right hand, and after a few moments, Ivar's left cheek bleed profusely.

”What? H-How?” Mommy took a step back as she looked at him in disbelief. ”It should--”

”Should chop my head off clean. Yes, it might do that if I just let you do it,” said Ivar. ”Since your Aegis crystals are invisible, the most logical thing for you to do is end your opponent in one swift attack. This way, your opponent wouldn't be able to react and counter your Aegis quick enough. It's a pity that your specialty is just Invisibility.”

Mommy glared at him, and I s.h.i.+vered from it as if she was looking at me. Her eyes reminded me of when she experimented those poor people back in the past. The eyes of someone filled to the brim with pent-up anger and hatred.

”Ama knows everything. You just have to know that,” continued Ivar.

”It's because of her specialty, Alicia!” shouted His Supremacy.

”You can shut your mouth, piece of human trash . . . Hmm?” Blood gushed out of his left arm, and he tilted his head at it. ”I didn't expect that.” His left arm then dropped onto the graphite far below, and he laughed.

”Since your specialty is Aegis Dominance, it allows you to manipulate other Users' Aegis crystals,” said Mommy. ”But if my attack is not directly aimed at your head, my invisible Aegis can't be manipulated by you.”

Ivar shrugged as his left arm slowly regenerated, starting from white bones until the cl.u.s.ter of protein fibers, forming his muscles. Pale brown skin wrapped his left arm bit by bit.

”When you attacked me in the head before, the moment your Aegis made contact with my skin, I destroyed it. Though, cutting my arm off was something that I didn't expect from you.” Ivar shrugged and wiped the blood from his left cheek.

”Aya,” Mommy said. ”Get ready.”

”Y-Yes!” I stood up and red blood Aegis crystals popped out from my palms.

Alexander was waiting the whole time with his magenta blade since he couldn't really reach Ivar. If he decided to form elongated blades and instructed it to dart towards him, Ivar could just destroy it.

”I see you folks of C.U have done your research. I've been waiting for anyone other than Alicia to make a move, but . . . It is what it is, I guess.”

”Even so!” Blood red Aegis claws encased my hands and I raised my arms high up. ”I will stop you!”

When I was about to strike him, the meeting room's door exploded. I turned around and found three women in white wedding dress had stepped inside, their heads wrapped in white shawls. The walls crumbled when a soldier got thrown into the room.

”He's filthy. I don't like that one. Hey, Ivar! You're slacking!” A woman also in a white wedding dress walked gracefully towards us. Her long, blond hair was tied into a large braid at her back. From what it seemed to me, her pale white skin and blue eyes radiated an aura of n.o.bility. She halted about a few feet away as the other women in the same clothing readied their Aegis blades.

”Another Pillar?!” said Alexander. He and Maltyie s.h.i.+fted their attention to that one woman, who appeared to be the one leading the strange band.

Without warning, the three bride-looking women lunged at Alexander with their blades. Swiftly, he evaded their swings and cut both arms of one of them with his own blade. A magenta pincer sprouted out from his shoulder and it grabbed at the armless woman.

”Aaargh!” Alexander cut her into three different pieces and she dropped onto the ground. Her blood poured out endlessly and it started to drench the floor relatively fast. ”You must be the one that sent these fiends at that villa.”
