One day later, a towering ancient city appeared in front of Mo Wen. The city was built on several mountain peaks and was exceptionally grand and magnificent. It looked as if it was built on the clouds.

Mo Wen climbed up on one of the mountains that was ten thousand meters high. It was high up in the clouds. Mo Wen reached the enormous doors of the ancient city.

This was the Mechanized Maze City. Legend was that a mysterious assistant palace lord of Huatian Palace built the city. The assistant palace lord was a highly-skilled gimmick master who studied the gimmick techniques of the immortal cultivation realm for his entire life. He was very experienced and learned.

Other than a grand palace lord, the Huatian Palace had four assistant palace lords. They were all very powerful people. At least, they were considered the most powerful existence at the pinnacle in the main space.

An assistant palace lord had built the Mechanized Maze City which was filled with countless secrets. It was said that the assistant palace lord resided in it and the city was the center of research in all things related to gimmicks.

Mo Wen turned to see where the voice came from and realized that the voice came from an enormous mountain wall. Humanoid features appeared on the flat surface of the mountain wall. It had eyes, eyebrows, and a nose. It had all the features of a human face.

Mo Wen had an odd thought. Was that the legendary mountain deity or a mountain demon?

He had read about such rock type demons in the classics. They could turn into large mountains. However, those types of demonic beasts were relatively rare, and there were not many of them even in the Demon Realm.
