547 Conflic (1/2)

Yin Banshuang knew that the ancient martial art practitioners gathered in the beast lair were not just those from Cropped Top Mountain. There were hundreds of sects gathered this time. In order to obtain the treasures in the beast lair, many of the sects were giving it their all. Therefore, in the fourth and fifth level, it was very easy to bump into some powerful ancient martial art practitioners.

In the distance, some ancient martial art practitioners were currently battling it out with two monstrous beasts. The two monstrous beasts were both very strong. One of them was even comparable to the Snow Leopard King that they had met in the second layer. The beasts were fighting seven people standing in a line; they were all of the Golden Elixir realm. Despite their presence, it was still a one-sided battle in favor of the monstrous beasts.

”Such an environment is disadvantageous to humans,” Mo Wen said pensively as he watched the battle from a distance. The seven ancient martial art practitioners did not seem to be able to handle the two monstrous beasts, and it did not seem as though they would be able to deal with just one-Seventh level monstrous beast of the intermediate stage. Under normal circumstances, even if the level of the monstrous beast was high, they should not be so easily defeated.

”You are right. In the beast lair, an ancient martial art practitioner's willpower is put to the test.” Naturally, Yin Banshuang knew what Mo Wen was talking about. Other than being faced with the two monstrous beasts, the ancient martial art practitioners still had to withstand the frightening cold that was all around. Some people with weaker willpower would feel their body shiver so much that they would not be able to unleash their full battle prowess.

The monstrous beasts in the beast lair had an advantage here. They had been living in such an environment for a very long time so would have been acclimatized to it.

”Let's go, don't bother about those people,” Yin Banshuang said calmly. It was needless to say but those few ancient martial art practitioners had likely gotten their hands on some treasure. If not, they would not be chased down by the monstrous beasts like that. Although there were many treasures in the beast lair, some of the more important ones would mostly have the protection of the monstrous beasts. If ancient martial art practitioners wanted to obtain them, they would have to fight it out with those monstrous beasts. Therefore, ancient martial arts practitioners offending the monstrous beasts was a very common sight.

To Yin Banshuang, none of the treasures had the vital Qi that moved her. A sect like Five Beasts Sect possessed too many treasures. She would not even give a second glance to treasures that other sects would rave about and risk their lives for.

Mo Wen was not interested either. There were really a lot of treasures in the beast lair. Along the way, he had encountered quite a number of spiritual herbs and mysterious ores. However, some of the true treasures were mostly in the dangerous areas and he did not have the time or energy to even think about them. He was also prioritizing the vital Qi.

”My two friends, please lend us a helping hand. We are people from Xingyi Sect and we will repay you generously afterward.” Although the ancient martial art practitioners were in a battle with the monstrous beasts, they could also sense Mo Wen and Yin Banshuang's presence. One of them immediately opened his mouth to ask for help, understanding that they would get out of their bind through uniting with others.

”Xingyi Sect.” Upon hearing that, Mo Wen looked over. Xingyi Sect was one of the Eight Major Influences in the Green Ancient Mystery Dimension and the controlling power of one of the districts. Although it was ranked after Intentionless Sect and was of the mid to lower range amongst the Eight Major Influences, being able to become the head of a district took a certain level of capabilities.

Yin Banshuang was expressionless and did even reply. She simply turned and left. Mo Wen was not one to stick his nose into the business of others and so also turned to leave.

”We are all humans. Why do the two of you have to be so heartless?” The person who had spoken saw their reaction. His expression changed slightly and his voice turned colder.

”You had better not offend me.” Yin Banshuang glanced over coldly. Continuing to mind her own business she walked away in a different direction. Xingyi Sect was a major sect. Their presence in the beast lair this time meant they definitely had a trump card in their hands. They were not utilizing it at the moment simply for fear of wasting it.
