Chapter 281 - XX The Price of Power (Finale) (2/2)

This threat carries a power capable of scarring even my supreme origin, when it comes here, the consequences may be much worse than with the World King. At least this was what my eye of time could see. If one day I return, I wish to be able to see a brilliant Supreme Origin Cosmic Realm.”

A few centuries after the World King's last appearance, a huge and magnificent city was erected within the boundary of the Eye of Heaven.
After Elijah brought back the mortals to the material dimension, a massive city was built within the center of the cosmic realm as a center of command and administration of the Supreme Origin System. The past royal families of the abyss which helped in the construction of the city and contribute to their own resources, while the Void King and the Enforcers of time as well as everyone else used to call it the City of Origins.
And the Origin System provided by Elijah soon proved to be a great success. The mortals who wished to cultivate had to kill an origin beast with an origin within it in order to start cultivating and only the origin of a beast you killed yourself could be absorbed(If you didn't die in the process).
With these first two rules, the number of people who would enter the path of cultivation would mostly be those really worth of cultivation instead of those fat and rich pigs acc.u.mulating money and power by corruption without the rights to do it.
In the former 31-A, the planet where Elijah was born, many young men and women competed for the rights to enter the Origin Tower and enter the same path as the Supreme King, but this is a story for another time.
At another point in time, a boy was running in the streets with seven guards behind him.
”Young master comes back! You are already six years old and is the time to be chosen by a God. Look, miss Chloe, your cousin is already there waiting for you, so why don't you calm down and walk with us back to the temple's initiation room.”
”No! I don't want to. You will never catch me.”said the boy before he speed up and mislead the guards.
The boy speed up and sneaked in the forest running without stop until he hit something.
”Ouch!” Knowing he must have crashed on somebody, Elijah quickly got up in order to apologize, but was surprised about what he saw.
A masked-man was standing next to him. Staring at Elijah with a strange look in his eyes, the man murmured a few words.”Hehe, so this was what he felt back then...”
Elijah could swear he heard something, but he didn't know what it was. He was about to ask when the man before him turned into a mass of resplendent light which devoured his body as a golden gate covered in runes buried in his body leaving the six-year old boy unconscious next to a tree.
As for the man, he left as soon as he arrived leaving no traces.
