The red-eyed creatures suddenly froze, even the world king was about to speak and he realized he couldn't move.

'T-this!' The World King felt depressed in his heart, this time he could see the power which Elijah used to stop time wasn't a law. 'How can't it not be a law. What is this?!”

The didn't have much time to think as he felt his mind slowly froze as well.

Elijah was standing in the void, a part of his armor has been broken and full of cracks. Yet, the smile never left his face, this was because far away in the void, outside the range of his time lock, an enemy attack was coming closer.

Observing the purple clouds rushing towards him, Elijah turned to the corrupted souls of the dead and then dashed in the direction of the World King.

With the pressure formed outside the time lock, the time lock was broken and the flow of time reverted to normal as a hammer and a scepter clashed in the void.

Both sides accelerated the flow of time as they exchanged a million blows per second, the world king summoned the dead souls as his meat shield, blocking the way to Elijah who only opened the space within his hammer and sealed them inside.

Bang! Each time his hammer collided with the scepter, a small Shockwave would split the two. A sharp pain was felt by the two, before a burst of energy caused both of them to fly backwards.

”What artifact is that? How can its attack be this powerful?” For the first time, Elijah looked at the crimson scepter with a slight surprise. You must notice that not only his own artifact has attained an astonishing level of hardness as he even combined it with a supreme origin. Yet. How could the power gap between the be close to nothing?

”The World King must have really refined the cosmic heart as he said, but how could I forget that the body he is using is the body of a prince of the void clan? With the Amount of Void Energy cultivated in that body, having any other law would pose a great danger, much less having all the laws in a single entity which means this scepter is the manifestation of all the laws condensed in a single object.” With this he could finally understand, if used by anyone else, this weapon would be just a top-grade divine artifact at most. 'I must separate that guy from his weapon.' This was the conclusion Elijah reached. Yet, saying so was way easier than doing it.

Don't you think I may as well destroy all the souls within the reincarnation system if you continue to oppose me?” The tone of the World King's voice changed to a colder tone on his last few words.

Elijah was about to attack when he froze on the spot. He hasn't even wanted to guess how many people he knew were in that place. So if he was telling the truth, there is a high chance that he must be sure he has something that could bring him a great damage.

”Good boy, at least you know when to act and when to stand still.” The world king smirked before waving with his hand, summoning a green dot in the shape of a translucent and small child.

”Papa, Mama, where are you? Why I can't see anything?” The child asked in a childish voice as she tried to understand her surroundings. Elijah could see it was a mortal human child with a bit more than three years old and a pair of bright green pupils that could gods would envy.

”Oh, do you remember who she is?” The tone of his voice grew even more vicious as his scepter hanged above the child's head.

”...” Elijah eyes were slightly red when seeing this. Not many people knew about where Chloe's true soul reincarnated, but how could he not know she had been granted a new life as a mortal on Earth. This child then merged with the vision he saw on earth, where the same girl was staring back at him as both she and her mother were sucked into the void.

Elijah's whole body was boiling with anger. If it wasn't for the child right next to the crimson scepter, he would have already tore his body and set his soul to the oblivion.

”What, do you believe that with my power, I can easily decimate her soul to the point nothing can bring her back, not even your power of time.” With a movement of his hand, the scepter slowly moved downwards with the light dot slowly showing signs of pain as it illusory shape started to burn.
