Chapter 268 - IX Supreme Origin of Fate (1/2)

After revealing his true self, Elijah returned to his previous form and had the servants of the void clan to prepare a room so he and the others could have a talk.

Whoosh! With a gentle gust of wind, Elijah nodded to himself. Just a single look and he was able to see everything Layla and her family experienced these past few years. From the first few prime beast invasions from the unprecedented disaster that took place in his homework.

Seating on elegant chairs prepared for them, they all sat around a stone table. Theodore observed Elijah closely. Since he arrived, his clothes were a mess and he changed into a new set of clothes, a long white robe while he tied his hair which has grown long into a ponytail.

He was still thinking about what to say. Elijah wasn't dense, and he certainly that back then Layla really liked him, but the he now thought of that as just children play, something that doesn't need to be taken seriously. Truth be told when he looked at her past right now, he was slightly shocked to how much deeper these feelings actually are. In fact, Layla wasn't as approachable and friendly as he thought she was, he saw something much more surprising.

”He's much taller than the young boy in my memories, and his aura is so contained than if it weren't for my eyes, I wouldn't even think he is before me.” Writing down Elijah's changes in his mind, and if he thought back to what he had seen these past few weeks, Theodore could think of several guesses about him, but none that he could be sure of.

”So, are you a reincarnated?” And this was the only possible answer he could think of as a mortal. He knew that different from Immortals, Gods could enter the cycle of reincarnation and have a new life if they chose to.

Elijah's eyes, which had become as profound as the stars had a hint of melancholy as he lightly laughed. ”No uncle, I'm not a God, neither a Mortal or celestial. Even I find it hard to understand, but you could say I'm one with the laws of time.”

Hearing what Elijah said, Cassie, who was holding Elliot in her arms suddenly stood up. ”Wait, did father succeed? Have you fully assimilated the supreme origin?”

”Oh yes, its power had only merged with my body back then. Now I can't use other supreme origins myself, but all its abilities are available. However, it is best if we explain some things first, don't you see how confused uncle Miller and his family are right now.” Soon, Elijah took some time to explain the many things that happened to him these past years. Now that both his body, soul and energy truly became one with time, there was no need to hide anything about the origins so he told everything he knew.

From the ancient race which mastered the Way of Origin, the initial 3000 Origins that this great race created as to become independent from the laws of the corrupted universe in which they lived to their fall before the great Cosmic Heart. Then he mentioned how this race who mastered the ways of time and space created a whole artificial cosmic realm right next to the main universe.

They're their descendants, the Seven Royal Families could live in peace as they await the one who was subjugate this perverse being who is the heavens themselves.

”Wait, father.” At this moment Cassie rose her voice. ”Is there Seven Royal Families in this world too. I've thought this timeline had eight, not seven.”

”Stop Cassie, let me get there first.”

Cassie's words awaken the others in the room, even the ice princess who just came back sat quietly in the corner to hear Elijah's story. She never heard of there being only seven families in this reality. Of course, having to live with the others for a time, she knew that Elijah is not Cassie's father for real. Her father is Elijah from an alternate reality, and in her reality, the most mysterious family, the eternal time clan never existed.
