Chapter 159 XX Monster Army (1/2)
With the little soldiers as their eyes, they quickly flew over dozens of beasts fleeing in panic as if they all had met their predator but no matter how scared they were, for some reason none of the beasts dared to approach a certain area and it was there where he felt Yawen's presence. Elijah grew worried as something may have happened and increased the speed of the little soldiers and the moment they arrived, Elijah saw an enormous figure through the trees together with a loud female laughter as the figure shot numerous lasers at a piece of wood.
At the same time, he noticed the the air around the little figures disturb his senses. Suddenly, Yawen leaped towards ground and rolled on the grass as she giggled and would call his name from time to time.
It was clear that there is something in this air that makes anyone there have hallucinations. Maybe this is the reason the beasts didn't dare approach this place.
If there was something that could Yawen who was staying in a robotic body as her vessel hallucinate, Elijah sighed with relief as he thoughts reached that point.
”I should wake her up by now.” Beside the earth tower, Elijah closed his and, with the energy stored in his soldiers, he sent a pulse of energy directly into her soul.
Wreaaaack! While making a strange yell, Yawen suddenly raised and ran towards a tree before falling down and getting up again. Far away, Elijah smirked, no one would believe that someone like Yawen could be an Celestial if they saw her like this.
”Yawen, Follow the little winged figures and they will lead you to me. This place is to dangerous to stay.” Elijah send his voice towards her.
.....
While Elijah reunited with Yawen and prepared to enter the tower of earth. Many things were happening in Midgard. Due to the interference with time, Ophelia's arrival on earth happened months before and then she arrived on London.
”Monsters! There is monsters invading out city!”
”Not just monsters, there is a entire army of them! A monster army is attacking out city!”
The moment Ophelia arrived on Midgard, she heard cries of people as many of them tried to escape, running everywhere as millions of red-eyed monsters attacked all of them. Even the sky was not as many planes were immediately shot down by flying monsters.
”It seems there will be trouble no matter where I go.” With a shield in one hand and her sword in the other, Ophelia gazed at the monsters for second before her body vanished.
A red-eyed Orc was chasing after a woman and her daughter, the mother ran desperately carrying her five year old daughter in her arms as the orc threw a stone at her back making her lose her balance and fall on the cold street that now it had been colored with the blood of other humans.
The orc laughed, enjoying the desperate screams of his victims as it prepared to give the finishing blow as its eyes widen in a sudden despair, grasping his neck where a thin cut could be saw. The orc's conscience faded before it could do anything as it turned into dust.
”Those unholy things are nothing before my sword forged by a dragon's flame and bathed in divine blood. One cut and they turn into dust.” Ophelia wielded her sword as she observed her surroundings. In addition to the orcs, there were also two-headed lizards that walked with two feet, spitting a purple gas that would dissolve humans that touched it.
