Hearing the voice, the atmosphere inside the temple instantly Became tense. Everyone looked at the man besides Davon.
This man was dressed in black robes and appeared to be in his forties. They also realized that this man had the same scarlet hair as the members of the Blaze family.
Davon Midas stared at the nervous gazes from the member of the noble clans and the royal family. However, he smiled and gently patted the black-robed man's shoulder. Then, he said calmly while looking at the king: ”It's nothing much. I just have a proposal for the nobles who are here. As for you, your Highness, we do not need you and your Royal Family.”
”What is the meaning of this Davon? Your family has served our kingdom well for countless years and this I can not deny. So stop this joke right now or if you really want to betray your nation, I will have to raise our sword against you.” Amid the tense atmosphere that spread through the temple, the king got up and said to Davon with a smile.
”This is what I mean.” Davon snorted when seeing that the King was trying to gain the upper hand: ”Brother, kill him.”
The black-robed man raised his hand and flames burned in every member of the royal family while red, yellow and orange lights and the creeds of the people echoed into the temple. In a few seconds, the entire royal family was reduced to ashes.

The nobles looked with horror at the black-robed man arrived at the same realization.
Davon smiled and said: ”I'm sure the older ones here should know about him, this is my brother, Austyn Blaze.”
”As we all know, the Thunder Hammer Kingdom is a rather weak force within the continent. Soner or later our Nation will not be able to fight back and In the end, we would have to hand over our land, our position and our heritages. What I propose is a union between the small kingdoms and that we serve a greater cause without having to worry about lossing what is our own and we can go together to a higher stage.”
”And I suppose you'd be the leader of the alliance, right?” One of the nobles raised the same question they wanted to ask and focused his attention on Davon to see what he would answer.
”How could I ... I would not dare be the leader. The leader of the alliance will be my father.”Another commotion spread through the temple when they learned that Davon's father was really alive. Davon laughed, seeing his reaction, then he continued: ”Yes, yes, just as you thought my father is alive. He actually suffered a problem with his cultivation that almost killed him, but he traveled to another continent where he found his cure and a way to get even stronger and I'm offering the same to everyone here.”
The temple was completely quiet. Everybody's gaze showed interest, yet nobody followed up to speak. It was evident that they weren't sure of what he is trying to say.
”I think that Lord Davon is overthinking the situation. Our kingdon is located at one of the most remote places within the entire continent. If not, why would the empires have this region for so long?” Henry said jokingly.
”I agree with you, but only if the continent we live in the only one in this world, everyone here knows that we have three main continents in our world. One dominated by the Faith in Gods, one by the faith in Devils and one by the hands of Mortals. Our continent is the one dominated by the faith in the Gods and this is not a problem, but a few months ago, all contact with the Gods has shut down. The Divine Academies even released their students from class and sent them back to their homes because even they do not know what is happening in the Celestial Realm.”
