Chapter 70 Chapter: 003 Preliminary Test Part I (1/2)

After attacking the light blue barrier for more that six hours, not only did the light barrier stayed intact as it kept them from reaching the treasures they could see on the altar and it also blocked the pathways that led towards the depths of this ruins.

”What should we do now? nothing we do seems to make effect.”

No one knew why they were able to go so deep in the ruins this time as it had been more that five expeditions here and it was the first time they see this place, but if they fail to destroy this barrier, then this would be the end of the expedition and their faction would send the most powerful experts and they would lose every tresure they could find here.

Elijah scanned the entire hall, and despite he noticed quite a lot of outstanding individuals on the crowd, he knew that none of them would be strong enough to break the enormous light blue barrier, not even if all of them attacked together. ”Everyone has reached the primary hall, all the preparations completed, initiating the preliminary test!” At that moment, the cold voice echoed in the square.

No one there seemed to undertand what the voice said and were stunned. What? Primary Hall? preliminary test?

Before anyone could react, a purple mist covered the hall and everyone falled asleep.

When Elijah was just about to follow everyone on their sleep, He turned his head slightly to see the illusion of a masked man standing in the darkness while staring at him. Elijah had no idea where this image came from and his eyes closed as he falled on the floor.

The moment he falled on the floor, Elijah felt a very uncomfortable feeling that made him feel like something swept past his body while scanning him.

The moment he wake up and looked at his surroundings, Elijah realized that he was there alone. The people that had entered before had all disappeared.

The sky was a empty and vast gray. The earth was a boundless yellow and there was nothing at all. The gray and yellow seemed to have no end, but it didn't gave him anything besides a strange sense of familiarity.

Suddenly, Elijah heard the sound of someone nearby and he immediately took out the Chloe's Heart and turned around abruptly.

Elijah saw that behind him, there was a door floating on the space. the door opens as a handsome man with a wicked smile on his mouth walked out of it.

And when Elijah saw this man face, his expression changed several times.

This man… Has the exact same face as his master! Maybe there were some diferences on thei hair and expressions but the facial features were basicaly the same. And the most strange was that the man's name surged on the back of his mind as a word from none of the languages spoked by mortals flowed from his mouth: ”Yakhan!”
