Chapter 52 Chapter: 007 Tower of Origin (1/2)

After a few hours, a huge city could be seen by Elijah and the others.

The broad stone walls surrounded the city, and in the center of the city a great tower rose and stretched out to the clouds. Any human before this tower seemed as small as an ant in comparison. On the tower, there was the symbol of the Kouzia Empire, a great sword, which was silver with golden lines, in a flag that fluttered in the breeze, showing the elegant behavior of the formidable empire.

A drawbridge bridge led them to the 30m wide gate around Riverfrost City, connecting to four gigantic armored statues stading by the gate, which was carved from ink-black stone. The excitement of people inside and outside the city was endless, and although they had not yet entered the city, they could already feel the bustling and thriving scene inside.

In terms of structure, Yggdrasil was much more advanced but as it was part of Valhalla Academy, it didn't have so many people as Riverfrost City. Stoping at the gate, Ava asked: ”Now that we are here, where we need to go?”

”We are here to buy flying beasts, so the most probable place is that tower over there.” Elijah looked around and then he pointed at the tower.

After pausing for a while, Elijah and the others headed towards the thetower.

”Halt.” The two white armored knights simultaneously shouted in a low tone, the two heavy swords lifted off the ground and blocking Elijah and their paths.

From the cold looks that were focused on them, and Elijah could feel clear ferocity coming from them.

These knights were clearly soldiers who had been forged in the flames of war, Elijah had saw those type of knights before, althoughthey weren't cultivators, they had a extremely powerful body andgreat combat experience. Elijah had the feeling that they were even more powerful than Neleos from before.

A small grey vortex appeared above Elijah's right palm as he showed it to the silver armored soldiers. The grey light gleam coming from the vortex seemed as to radiate of icy cold air.

”Welcome mister, please enter.” the two silver armored soldiers simultaneously took a step back, making a path for them to enter. Ava and the others also showed their Divine Imprint e entered in the tower.
