[1] 百花深处 Bai Hua Shen Chu, which literally means ”deep amongst hundreds of flowers,” is the name of an old hutong, an alley between traditional courtyard residences, in Beijing.
[2] 地安门 Di'anmen, which means Gate of Earthly Peace, was the northern gate of the Imperial City of Beijing.
