Chapter 139 - 139: The One-Man Army. (2/2)

[Fast-Forward]

Out of nowhere, a kick crashed into the middle of the face of the Horned one to Gray's front, causing his eyes to widen.

He was blown away, right towards the formation where the commoners were lined up.

[Fast-Forward on cooldown.]

A split second after, the other three horned ones around Gray, had their head's cock back at the same time.

A loud impact resounded as air burst through their faces. Fist prints could be seen all over their bodies.

In the next second, they were suffering a barrage of blows from all over, it was so condensed and powerful that their bodies pushed off the ground.

Not knowing what the hell had just happened, they were blasted away.

Two crashed into the ships on the shores, while the last crashed into the water.

The entire shore had gone quiet from shock as no one had seen it, they hadn't seen Gray taken even a step. And yet four nobles were instantly dealt with.

Violet and Ruby who saw this couldn't help but smile. Charlotte was shocked and Lara was worried. Kylo could be seen punching the air rooting for Gray to kick their asses.

Lastly Lita, she stood there calmly with her eyes shut.

The only one missing from the Group was Ria.

She was hidden away from site inside of one of the ships, waiting with her Rapier in hand to attack when necessary.

Her expression as calm as her breathing.

”What in the world...?”

Gray lowered and pulled back his extended leg before turning to Ruby.

A bit of blood could be seen dripping down from his nose, but that stopped shortly after.

[Auto-Recovery]

It was an effect from activating the mark.

From just partially activating it, he could have a partial effect of regeneration which would allow him to survive stopping time.

Even if it was only partial, with it he could stop time, but just not for long, as the longer he went on the graver the damages.

At most he could handle 3 seconds now.

If he exceeded a time limit which could kill him, the system would automatically deactivate the time stop.

If that was the case, why not fully activate the mark and boost the timer?

There was a time limit for the mark to stay active, if he fully activated it, the time would have been chipped away much faster.

From where he stood, Gray had a feeling he would need to keep the mark active for as long as possible.

Gray turned his head back and glanced over at Ruby.

”Ruby. I've been meaning to ask this for a while... Why is that I see some another lady with a crown on their head at the back whilst there isn't nothing in yours?” Gray asked.

He had missed out on everything since he had been teleported away. But the plan was for Ruby to have been the one in throne.

After that, she'd stop the war herself.

So why was it that the horned ones were at the docks, as if they were going to return back to earth?

”Ruby... Explain....” He muttered coldly.
