Her cheeks shifted from a pink to a bright red shade. ”Don't tease me...” She muttered before lowering her head.

With the hypnotic stare, she drew slightly closer to Gray. Her fresh sweet out of the shower scent permeated throughout the room before being pleasantly welcomed through his nostrils.

To his surprise, Violet lowered her head before lightly tapping it on his chest.

*Drip* *Drip*

Tears could be seen flowing down her face which she tried so desperately to hide.

”I... I thought that you were dead... Not just me, Aurora and even that princess... Why...? What happened?” She asked before suddenly looking up at him.

Her eyes were teary and narrow, her brows were close together in a frown. She was both upset and mad at him.

Seeing this, Gray patted her head and watched as her expression relaxed a little. Resembling almost a cat, just like Aurora, the tension would be slightly lowered.

”D-Don't... That's not fair... I'm supposed to be mad at you” She muttered as her bottom lip protruded out in a sulky pout.

”Oh, to stop?”

”I didn't say that..”

Upon hearing this, Gray let out a sight giggle, before looking up at the ceiling.

”What's so funny..?”

With his other hand, Gray raised his hair bangs which would usually cover his expression at certain angles. He did so to get a clearer view.

”Nothing... I'm just happy. My sister's here. You're here, Aurora's here, Lara's here... The kids and everyone. Whenever my life goes this well, something always fucks it up.” He said.

After that, Violet also chuckled slightly.

”If that's the case then we just won't let anything fuck it up.”

Gray's jaws dropped as he turned to Violet.

”I didn't know you could swear.” He remarked.

”Shut up...” She muttered before letting out another giggle. ”I'm nineteen..” She added as she looked up and stared into his eyes.

”And I still haven't forgotten that I'm supposed to be mad at you...”

Gray smiled nervously unsure of what to say, seeing this, her sulky pout seemed to return.

Suddenly, she leapt at him, causing the two to fall over. With her cheeks flushing a vibrant shade of red, she rested her head over his chest.

”Hehe~ I can hear your heart beating.” She said with a smug smile.

Her expression quickly shifted from the smile to a surprised one however, as she realised something.

”Something's poking me again...”

Together their hearts were pounding, they could feel the ripples of each other's breath along with each other's reflection through their eyes.

”I told you last time... I'll lose control..”
