”So essentially, refining this evolution energy inside of us will help us grow stronger?” Violet asked.

The plates which had residue of the soup they had eaten could be seen floating up into the sky ahead of her. The sponge filled with dish-washing liquid proceeded to scrub the plates whilst she did the dishes.

”Then… I guess I'll start training.” Said Violet.

Sweat could be seen pouring down Gray's body as he sat with his legs crossed in his room, beside him was Kylo imitating him. Lita could be seen watching them from the sides.

Wind began gathering around Kylo while a small spherical field just big enough to fit in Gray was deployed around him.

Gray was currently training how long he could last with the field deployed while focusing on the evolution energy inside of him whilst Kylo practised his wind control as he also got a feel for the energy.

The clock's ticks grew louder as Gray slowly descended into an ocean of silence.

Following the tick, everything became quiet and went dark.

Gray slowly opened his eyes only to find himself levitating in pitch-black darkness. His body's figure was radiating a white aura. Blue lines which seemed to represent some of his blood vessels could be seen flowing throughout his body.

They passed by his arms, legs before all connecting at a single point inside of his chest. Gray couldn't tell whether or not it was in his heart, but he could see a colourless core.

'So this is the energy which empowers my abilities... I can see it flowing through me.” He muttered

[Affirmative, this is your evolution energy.]

”System, will somehow refining this flow truly make me stronger?” Gray doubted.

'How does one even refine this flow?' He wondered

[However, based on current information, body temperament as daily quests requests along with the manual use of the ability is the best and fastest way to progressing.]

A smile grew on Gray's face.

”You're right. There's no use overthinking it. Right now I should start by getting onto what matters the most as of this moment.” He spoke before suddenly opening his eyes.

A strong gust of wind was emitted from Kylo, almost blowing Lita away as Gray awoken. Gray who had been paused, hadn't moved a muscle.

”Brother...! Too strong...!” Yelled out Lita.

Kylo who heard this, suddenly opened his eyes. Heavy puffs were released from him as he found himself covered in sweat.

”So that's the flow...” He muttered.

”Did you see it?” Gray asked.

”Ah? Yes...” Kylo Replied, surprised to see that Gray had also just awoken.

”Were you able to figure out how to refine it?” He added.

Kylo shook his head in denial. ”After seeing the flow, I feel like I've gained a deeper understanding over my ability... We're far from the end result, but we're making progress...” Muttered Kylo.

Gray's eyes widened as he heard this, he turned his head up to the ceiling before letting out a chuckle. ”How old are you?” He asked.

”I turned eight a few months ago.” Kylo replied. ”Why?”

”Kylo... You... You're kind of smart-”
