Chapter 52: Night with Violet. (1/2)

Laying on a rather uncomfy bed, Gray could be seen sleeping side by side with two beauties. On the left rested Aurora whilst on the right was violet.

Gray had drained out all of his stamina using pause to time the leaps and carry the group from the dome, all the way to the nearest building.

Fortunately, during that time there were no flying zombies or action from the people in the fleets, otherwise things could have gone downhill.

After getting everyone safely to the city, Gray and his group separated with them despite their pleads for him to join and stay with them. Gray just couldn't handle the responsibility.

After hours of searching and movement, they had finally managed to find an underground shelter belonging to an uninhabited mansion near the outside of the city. Gray made sure to clear out all the zombies in the vicinity, and thus had achieved level four.

The underground shelter base had five rooms, it was rather large and spacious. Surprisingly enough it was empty, yet filled with food cans and water bottles.

After running some risky tests, they confirmed it was safe and edible. So now the group was resting to gain back all the energy they had lost during the escape.

Before getting some sleep however, the two girls watched as Gray did his daily training. His push ups, sit ups and pauses. Fortunately there was no need for the run since he had already hit it throughout the day.

Once he was done, he took a shower after the three of them. The moment he finished however, he found Kylo and Lita's mother waiting for him, a worried look could be seen on her face as she suddenly bowed.

”Thank you... Thank you so much for saving my kids... I can't thank you enough.” She muttered, tears steaming down her eyes.

'So that's what she wanted to tell me but was holding back.' He thought to himself.

So much had happened that they didn't really have the chance to talk. This also reminded him that he still hadn't had a chance to talk to Aurora. Unfortunately, she was already asleep with violet in the other room.

”No need to thank me, you should thank them when they're awake.” Gray replied as he walked. ”Please raise your head... I'll feel bad. Instead, be happy that your kids are still alive and that you were able to find them.” Gray added whilst patting her head.

She looked up at him, before suddenly hugging him tightly as she burst into tears.

”Lara… My name is Lara…” She mumbled.

”Alright, Lara.” Gray replied with a smile.

After a short while, she apologized and went back to her room where her two kids were before continuously casting healing on Kylo. Gray was surprised that she could still cast it after having been doing so for the past hours.

Her ability was definitely promising.

After going to bed, gray closed his eyes before muttering. ”I'll find you… I know things are getting harder but please… Please be alive… Sister.”
